Community Fundraiser for the East Phillips Neighborhood Institute

WHAT, WHEN & WHERE
On Sunday, September 10, join Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church and Our Saviour’s Community Services in supporting the East Phillips Neighborhood Institute as they build towards the East Phillips Urban Farm! Come to the space inside and outside 2315 Chicago Ave from 12PM – 2PM to:
- Hear from advocates planning for the future of the Roof Depot site
- Celebrate the work that neighbors and advocates have accomplished to build toward a community hub in the East Phillips neighborhood, complete with an urban farm and housing
- Enjoy free pizza made in our backyard pizza oven
- Participate in an auction with proceeds going to the East Phillips Neighborhood Institute
- Tour the shared Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church/Our Saviour’s Community Services campus and weigh in on your dreams for the future of this space
COST
The event is free to attend, and all are welcome. We will be collecting voluntary donations for the East Phillips Neighborhood Institute to support pre-development costs for the Roof Depot site.
SCHEDULE
12:00 to 12:30 Eat pizza, participate in silent auction on select items, socialize
12:30 First group leaves for a tour of the property led by Our Saviour’s Community Services
1:00 Community Square time — announcements, prayers, and blessings led by Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church and friends
1:20 to 1:30 Final Bids are due
1:30 Second group leaves for a tour of the property, eat more pizza, or socialize
1:50 Big reveal– who had the winning bids? Did we meet our goal to raise $10,000?
AUCTION INFORMATION
Most of the bidding for the auction will happen online here, with bidding closing at 8PM on Saturday night. The items that are marked “on-line and live” will also be available at a silent auction from 12-1:00 on Sunday. Remember, the auction part of the fundraiser for the East Phillips Urban Farm!
